This Code is intended to operate in Western Australia and must be applied consistently with applicable Western Australian and Commonwealth laws, regulations, and safeguarding obligations.
Purpose and Scope
This Code establishes the behaviour standards expected of every Queen (participant) in Queen Mode and supports a safe, respectful, inclusive, and performance-focused environment for girls aged 12–17. Parents and Guardians are expected to help Queens understand and meet these standards.
Our Standards
- Show respect for Queens, Coaches, staff, visitors, and venue personnel at all times.
- Use age-appropriate language and behaviour, including online and in all Queen Mode settings.
- Train with effort, honesty, sportsmanship, and a willingness to learn.
- Respect personal boundaries, privacy, equipment, facilities, and property.
- Never bully, intimidate, harass, discriminate against, exclude or humiliate others.
- Follow Coach instructions relating to training, supervision, and safety.
- Promptly report injuries, illness, unsafe behaviour, or wellbeing concerns.
- Follow the Device-Free Zone and Digital Communication policies.
- Do not engage in violent, threatening, sexualised, illegal or deliberately unsafe conduct.
- Represent Queen Mode responsibly in person, online and in the wider community.
Breaches
Responses may include a reminder, coaching conversation, restorative action, Parent or Guardian contact, removal from an activity, suspension, or termination of participation where appropriate. The response will depend on the seriousness, context, pattern of behaviour and any safeguarding obligations. Serious matters may require escalation to relevant authorities.
Leadership Standard
Queens are expected to own their choices, admit mistakes, repair harm where appropriate and contribute positively to squad culture. Safety always takes priority over performance.

The Queen Mode application records separate Queen and Parent or Guardian acknowledgements of this Code: Queen agrees and Parent or Guardian agrees.
