Children’s Information

Because Queen Mode works with girls aged 12–17, information relating to young participants will be handled with particular care.

Parents and Guardians will be involved in relevant consent and enrolment processes.

This policy is intended to operate in Western Australia and must be applied consistently with applicable Western Australian and Commonwealth laws, regulations and safeguarding obligations.

Information We May Collect

  • Queen (participant) and Parent or Guardian contact details.
  • Emergency and authorised-collection information.
  • Relevant medical, injury, allergy, accessibility and emergency information.
  • Attendance, enrolment and payment administration information.
  • Incident, complaint or safeguarding information where necessary.
  • Photography/media consent choices.
  • Training results and notes for coaching, education and athlete development purposes.

Why We Use Information

Information may be used to administer enrolment, communicate with families, manage safety and attendance, deliver training, respond to incidents, meet obligations, improve services and manage the program.

Disclosure

Information may be disclosed to relevant staff, contractors, venues, service providers, emergency personnel, authorities or others where reasonably necessary for safety, the stated purpose, legal compliance or appropriate consent.

Security, Access and Review

Reasonable safeguards should protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Individuals may request access to or correction of their information subject to applicable law.

Acknowledgement

The Queen Mode application records that the Parent or Guardian has read this policy and acknowledges that Queen Mode will collect and use personal information provided through the registration form for purposes reasonably connected with operating and administering the program, including Queen management, communication, safety and record keeping.
