Her phone can wait. Her success cannot.

This policy is intended to operate in Western Australia and must be applied consistently with applicable Western Australian and Commonwealth laws, regulations and safeguarding obligations.

Purpose

Queen Mode may operate device-free training periods to reduce distraction, protect privacy, improve coaching focus and encourage genuine squad connection.

During Device-Free Periods

  • Phones, smartwatches and personal devices must be silenced and stored as directed.
  • Do not record, photograph, livestream or distribute training content unless authorised.
  • Do not use devices to contact others during sessions except for safety or approved reasons.
  • Coaches may use authorised devices for legitimate operational purposes.

Exceptions

Access may be permitted for medical, accessibility, safeguarding or emergency reasons, or with Coach/program-lead approval.

Family Communication

Parents and Guardians should use the program’s nominated contact pathway for urgent matters rather than expecting Queens (participants) to monitor phones during training.

Acknowledgement

The Queen Mode application records that the Parent or Guardian has read this policy, and the Queen’s declaration includes keeping her phone or device away during sessions unless authorised.
